Semar Johal is an undergraduate student majoring in Human Biology at UC Davis. Her research interests include cancer biology, genetics, and neurological diseases. She is interested in understanding the biological mechanisms behind human disease. She is also passionate about medicine and improving health outcomes in underserved communities. In the Fejerman Lab, she contributes to ongoing cancer genetics research.
