Najla is a current Master's in Public Health student at UC Davis. Najla has a BS in Global Disease Biology and a minor in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Davis. Throughout her undergraduate education, Najla has been involved with the Health Education Promotion program through UC Davis Student Health and Counseling Services and the UC Davis Cross-Cultural Center where she has been able to learn and promote information within the UC Davis community on the impacts of social determinants of health amongst underserved, communities of color. In the Fejerman Lab, Najla will help with creating and updating cervical cancer educational material for Latinx women. Post-graduation, Najla hopes to pursue a career in health education where she can continue working with communities to reduce the prevalence of preventable diseases and illnesses and help increase quality of life.
