Eric is a second-year medical student at UC Davis. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology from UC Irvine. At UC Irvine he was heavily involved in medical outreach within the local community and worked in a molecular biology and biopsychology research laboratories. Eric was born in Mexico and grew up in the central coast of California. His immigrant background has influenced his passion for pursuing medicine and he hopes to take care of minority and immigrant communities as a physician. Eric is currently working with Dr. Fejerman on Tu Historia Cuenta community outreach project. He is creating materials that will help promotores obtain a breast cancer family history. During his free time, Eric enjoys walks, working out, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
