Bio
Cassie is currently a PhD student in Biostatistics at the University of California, Davis, and received her Master's degree in Biostatistics from Cornell University. For her graduate research, she studied the treatment effects of traditional and novel therapies for breast cancer by analyzing 533-sample 16S rRNA gene sequence data of human and mouse microbiomes. In the Fejerman Lab, she continues to do analysis on RNA-Seq data to extract information on differential gene expression and compare TCGA and PEGEN. When she has free time, Cassie enjoys scuba diving all over the world, covering songs, and eating delicious food
