The Fejerman Lab has been partnering with two community based organizations on a project called Tu Historia Cuenta, or your story counts. One of our partners, Promoters for Better Health in Los Angeles, was recently recognized by the City of Pomona, County of Los Angeles, California Assemblymember Rodriguez, and US Congressmember Correa. Promoters for Better Health was recognized for their hard work in reaching out and educating over 700 women on hereditary breast cancer and the importance of family history.
