Congratulations are in order for our very own, Dr. Valentina Zavala Cordero! She received the award for the best presentation/talk during the UC Davis Genome Center Halloween Symposium. Her talk focused on her research for the PEGEN-BC study where she looks at the impact of indigenous ancestry on breast cancer risk.
